Prime Machine, Inc. and Prime Field Service Corp., are looking for a skilled Payroll Processor to be responsible for processing payroll for 2 companies for an average of 8 payrolls a month between hourly and salary. This position is an onsite position. Job Duties Hands-on payroll processing and payroll accounting for all salaried and hourly employees. Manage third-party vendors and the preparation, analysis and maintenance of all payroll related reports, including governmental and regulatory filings. Process all 401(k) and HSA payment to vendors. Administer all payroll financial systems ensuring integrity and integration of payroll databases into the appropriate financial and management reporting systems. Assist Human Resources with payroll audits, agency, and employee inquiries. Reconcile all related GL accounts in our proprietary software. Be an interictal part of a software system change over with implementation and training. Request new UI and Tax numbers for the new states as we grow. Prepare and submit quarterly 941 and UI reports and payments. Other duties as assigned. Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED Accounting or bookkeeping experience Required Skills and Experience Minimum of 4 years of full cycle payroll processing experience a must. Prior software implementations a huge plus. Well versed in all applicable rules and regulations for the states we have employees. Strong verbal and written communication skills Microsoft office skills a must Advance knowledge of excel a bonus. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as payroll deductions, payroll taxes, overtime, sick pay and vacation leave amounts. Ability to use 10-key by touch. We currently provide Large and Small Machine Shop Services, Welding Fabrication, Millwright Field Services, Gearbox Repair, and State-of-the-Art Laser Inspection Services.
