Comprehensive Energy Services, Inc. is hiring a IT - Intern! Comprehensive Energy Services, Inc. is searching for an exceptional IT Intern to join our team this summer starting in May! The I.T Intern will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience working closely with the IT Manager and IT team. The ideal candidate is a learner, dependable, adaptable, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator. This is a great internship opportunity for students pursuing a career in IT Field. IT Internship duties include, but are not limited to: Get hands-on experience in the technical aspects and business aspects of our business Provide IT Support for our Internal customers via phone and remote connection. Perform hardware and software repairs of laptops, desktops and Servers. Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking and other issues. Cross-train within the department to provide back-up coverage as needed What we are looking for: Ability to provide a professional demeanor and excellent listening skills with Team Members. Maintain confidentiality of all information, Clear and professional tone of voice Work in a team orientated environment Wiliness to learn new skills, hardware and software Provides first-level IT support for all end-users and voice/data communication systems issues Escalates calls when appropriate Writes concise, informative service tickets Follow up on all tickets in a timely manner and pursues issues through to resolution. Must possess broad knowledge and proficiency with popular operating systems, application software, desktop and laptop computers printers and networks. Knowledge of VMware and Storage systems or a desire to learn. Must be able to Multi-task. Must be able to pass regular drug testing and background checks required.
