The full continuum of River Edge Behavioral Health services provides state-of-the-art treatment and support services for more than 13,000 children, youth, families, and adults annually, who experience mental illness, addiction, co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities. ACT nurses will act as consumer advocates and use a holistic approach to assist the consumer with attention given to the biological, psychological, and social needs of each consumer. ACT nurses will focus on developing nurse/consumer relationship to teach, research, provide, and/or access optimal health care services. Responsibilities: Completes RN Nursing assessments for all ACT clients within 60-90 days of Provides nursing and medical case management services to assigned ACT clients in-clinic and the community. Works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and facilitate ACT care services in-clinic with an assigned psychiatrist/provider. Completes all service documentation within 24 hours of service delivery. Collects labs as ordered, administer injection, enter order, etc. Qualifications Needed (education and/or experience): Must possess current Georgia license to practice as a registered professional nurse. Demonstrate one or more years of professional nursing experience. Ability to perform Healthcare Provider CPR/First Aid. Maintain current safety orientation/training. Ensures the safety and security of clients and staff. Have knowledge of nursing policies, procedures, protocols, treatments, standards of care, and nurse practice act. Have knowledge of the procedures for medication administration and can administer oral, sublingual, and IM medications; knowledge of pharmacology.
