The full continuum of River Edge Behavioral Health services includes state-of-the-art treatment and support services for more than 13,000 children, youth, families and adults annually, who experience mental illness, addiction, co-occurring disorders, and developmental disabilities. River Edge is looking to fill the position of Clinical Trainer with/at our Community Mental Health Center (CMHC). Benefits Offered: Completive Pay Paid Time Off 401k with an employer match Flexible Spending Accounts Short and Long-term disability coverage Life Insurance In this role you will: Be responsible for creating and delivery training to the nursing team, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality knowledge and skills. The Clinical Trainer will also assess instructional effectiveness via regular classroom observations and end-of-class evaluations. The Clinical Trainer will also work with all internal stakeholders to ensure care and services are delivered effectively across the region. Duties and Responsibilities: Stay abreast of evidence-based practices for agency's most commonly treated behavioral health conditions. Develop train-the-trainer competence in key evidence-based practices, with recertification as required. Plan and implement routine trainings for all appropriate personnel in agency. Responsible for creating training materials, including but not limited to, user manuals, tip sheets, workflows, recorded training videos, etc. Responsible for assessing and developing refresher and/or tutorial support as necessary Ensure all required evidence-based practices are completed within 60 days of hire. Works with Human Resource team to track expirations and deliver refreshers prior to expiration. Facilitates and serves as a change agent for the initiation of, implementation of, and revising of policies, procedures, and regulations. Work with leaders to implement and maintain performance culture. Minimum Qualifications: Fully COVID vaccinated. Hold and maintain a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in GA Graduate from a nationally or state approved School of Nursing program with a Bachelor's degree or higher 3 or more years' experience in behavioral health nursing Demonstrated ability to train and coach others in a professional and supportive manner Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check Acceptable references Experience working as an educator and/or coach preferred Additional Information: The Application Process All qualified applicants will be considered Only those selected for an interview will be contacted by the hiring managers.
