Job Type: Host/Hostess Salary: $15.00 Time: Part time Looking for part time job with competitive pay and flexible hours? Position Summary for Host/Hostess The San Antonio Country Club is currently seeking qualified candidates for a part-time Host/Hostess position. These positions are responsible for creating the first, positive impression for the Club's members and guests while greeting, seating, and managing the dining room reservations and table assignments. This position offers flexible schedules with the ability to accommodate other jobs and/or school responsibilities. Qualified Host/Hostess candidates will be compensated with an hourly wage starting at $15.00 an hour. Position Responsibilities: A Host/Hostess will hold the following responsibilities, which will include, but are not limited to: Greet our membership and their guests upon arrival into the restaurant, guiding them to an assigned table and setting the tone for the upcoming dining experience. Handle phone calls coming to the host stand with proper etiquette, being able to place reservations, take to-go orders, and answer questions about current and upcoming events at the Club. Manage the reservations, walk-ins, and dining table map throughout any given meal period, while maintaining our reporting protocols for tracking dining covers. Have a good working knowledge of the menus, keep them updated and clean. Assist in setting up tables for the next shift Qualifications | Requirements: Have a great work ethic, ability to work with a team, and an engaging personality. Applicants should have excellent communication skills and a nice attitude. Also be able to work weekends and some Holidays.
