***Rome Health is seeking a Social worker for our Community Recovery Center.*** Looking for an individual that is a Licensed Social worker or Licensed mental health counselor with a minimum of one year experience working in the field. MSW degree will be considered for those individuals who are actively working towards NYS licensing. Additional experience in the field of substance use disorders is preferred. The ages we provide services for vary from age 11 to 70 +. You need to be able to work as a team member, with minimal supervision, have great time management skills and be able to complete the work within agency guidelines. The knowledge you need: The ability to identify individual strengths and weaknesses and provide patient centered care. Knowledge of the DSM - 5 and the ability to substantiate criteria and provide basis for SUD diagnosis. Knowledge of Professional Standards/ Canon of Ethics and OASAS 822 regulations Knowledge of case management including availability of resources and referral processes. Ability to know the family dynamic of the cases as needed. Mental Health disorders, create effective safety plans, suicidal/homicidal assessments and the ability to utilize various counseling strategies. Your typical week would be Monday through Friday 8-4 and one shift 1-9, You will report to the Clinical Supervisor and/or Director.
