The YMCA of Northern Colorado is looking for knowledgeable and professional instructors to welcome new participants to our Pilates Reformer programs at our Boulder YMCA. You'll not only teach high quality classes but build relationships and connect class participants. Applicants should have exceptional teaching, communication and listening skills. The Pilates Reformer Instructor will plan and lead Pilates Reformer class while providing a safe, effective workout and accurate health and wellness information. Develop educational and enjoyable sessions for the participants. Must be outgoing, energetic, and have the physical ability to teach Pilates. The instructor will portray a professional image and provide positive feedback, motivation, and encouragement. You will set an excellent example of health and wellness and member service. Requirements/Qualifications: Current nationally recognized Instructor Certification in Pilates Reformer and National Group Exercise required. At least 1 year experience teaching Pilates Reformer. Current CPR, AED and First Aid certification or obtain certification within the first 60 days of hire and maintain current certification thereafter. We are adding classes to our schedule and can be flexible with opening new class times and days for weekdays, mornings, evenings, weekends. If you aren't available for a consistent class, please consider applying as a substitute instructor. Salary range is $26-34/hour based on experience and availability. In addition, we offer a +10% differential for bilingual staff who test as fluent in Spanish and English. All YMCA of Northern Colorado part-time staff working 10+ hours each week are eligible to receive a free family membership. Staff who work 10+ hours a week earn 50% to 100% off our programs. That includes free YMCA traditional day camp, youth sports, learn to skate and swim lessons, and half off YMCA Camp Santa Maria overnight camp, personal training, specialty summer camps, and childcare. If you work 20+ hours a week, your benefits grow from there. Sick time is earned from day 1, and we make contributions of 10% of your salary to the YMCA Retirement Fund for eligible staff.
