Easterseals New York, a Fedcap program in Cohoes, NY, is seeking to hire a full-time Seasonal Camp Counselor to join our team at Camp Colonie. This position offers competitive pay and exceptional benefits , making it the perfect summer job! THE DAILY LIFE OF A SEASONAL CAMP COUNSELOR This position works during the day . Our summer camp takes place from June 26th - August 11th . As a Seasonal Camp Counselor at Camp Colonie, you help our campers stay safe and have fun! You start by greeting campers at the entrance and walking them to class, helping them get settled and comfortable. Throughout the day, you engage them in activities like singing songs and cleaning up, using prompts and cues as needed to keep them interested and involved. You're also available to assist with bathroom breaks and maintaining good hygiene. During mealtimes, you reinforce social skills and encourage conversation between children. And at the end of the day, you feel great knowing that you helped create positive, lasting memories for all the campers.
