Eligibility requirements can be found at http://www.oakton.edu/studentservices/career_services/student_employee/Days and hours of position: Monday Thursday, minimum 20 hours per week.Specific Skills/Aptitudes: Must have excellent computer & office skills. Student must know HTML, Access, Word Processing, Excel, PowerPoint & web site capabilities. Must have strong organizational & proofreading skills. Must have excellent communication skills & be trustworthy. Web skills a plusEssential Duties and Functions: Update web pages, syllabus & working with students. Support professor with Computer Club & Advisory committee meetings. Filing, book adoption updates. Prepare marketing flyers.Eligibility for Student EmploymentA student is eligible to work as a student employee if:He or she meets the enrollment requirement.The student can show proof of eligibility to work in the United States.At time of hire the student has a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 or first semester enrolled at Oakton.
