The Revenue & Accounts Receivable Manager reports to the Accounting Manager and is responsible for managing the invoicing and collecting overall function and team. Escalate more serious collection issues and account balances to the Accounting Manager. Support monthly accounting close cycles and ensure internal and external reporting deadlines are met; includes real-time analysis and review, as well as supporting close and financial reporting reviews following close. Ensure backup processes are in place for accounts receivable daily responsibilities and tasks. Develop and maintain accounts receivable reports to monitor customer balances, payment trends, and timely invoice submission. Assist with implementing accounts receivable automation projects to promote efficiencies and reduce manual transactions. Ensure compliance with established and published SOX requirements and make recommendations to improve the internal control structure, as necessary. Direct, train, and oversee the development and support of the accounts receivable staff. Performing other job-related duties as needed. Standards of Performance Provide leadership for the overall organization, direction, and administration of the accounting function. Ensure efficient and effective accounting operations and flow of financial information. Ensure reliability and integrity of reporting and management information systems for the administrative departments. Display professional, prompt, and courteous service by resolving or directing employees to resolve issues. Analytical and problem solving. Synthesizes complex and diverse information. Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully. Demonstrate interpersonal skills and proficiency in business vocabulary to effectively interact with department and client organizations. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field required. 6 - 8 years of managerial accounting in accounts receivable experience required Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and specifically Excel Knowledge of general accounting principles CPA, CMA, and/or AR certifications preferred.
