Baroody Camps, Inc. provides programs to people of all ages in various counties throughout the Virginia/Maryland area. We are looking for individuals who are interested in coaching pickleball and sharing their love for the sport and community with beginner to intermediate players. We have immediate openings for daytime and/or evening coaches for ADULTS. Compensation: $25-$40/hour Zipcode: 22310 Responsibilities and Duties: Prepare for class each day Manage and care for equipment For children's classes: Manage the children in an appropriate and safe manner Ensure students are safely dismissed following class Communicate effectively with children, parents and Baroody Camps staff Implement COVID-19 policies and procedures Teach provided curriculum to a group of 8-15 children in a structured environment For Adult Classes Communicate effectively with players Teach provided curriculum to a group of 8-15 adults in a structured environment Assess players at the end of each session Qualifications and Skills: Must be an experienced player (intermediate to advanced) Must be 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or GED Experience playing or coaching sports programs Excellent communication skills High level of classroom management skills and customer service skills Works well under pressure Must have reliable work transportation Must be available to teach at least 2-3 times per week Baroody Camps provides on site and on the job training.
