Director of Clinical Assessment VillageCareMAX 120 Broadway, New York, NY 10271 VillageCare is looking for a self-motivated and passionate RN for our Full-Time Director of Clinical Assessment. This is an exciting and dynamic position providing support of the day-to-day function of the clinical assessment department. The Director will be responsible for the review of initial care plans, scheduling of assessments by care coordinators and quality review in accordance with regulatory requirements. Some of you daily activities will include: C reating business processes to ensure completion of high quality and timely assessment of care plans. Oversee the MLTC clinical quality management nurses and assessment nurses. Monitor UAS activities, maintain the Plan's membership and account holder access. Lead quality activities by analyzing MLTC risk management data, compliance and other reports to promote best practices and clinical outcomes. Manages Medicaid clinical risk functions, ensuring efficiency and compliance with applicable regulations and the plan's contract with the New York State Department of Health. Oversee the implementation of corrective actions related to internal and external audits. We would like to speak to those who have a valid NYS RN License , along with: 5+ years of clinical job related experience in nursing management, managed healthcare, clinical quality improvement and efficiency programs in a managed care setting. 2-3 years of supervisory experience. Extensive knowledge of Department of Health, Medicare and Medicaid regulations and compliance guidelines. Bachelor's degree in Nursing required. Master's Degree in healthcare, business, or healthcare required. Master's degree in Nursing preferred. There are many benefits to working for VillageCare.
