We are seeking a sharp Inventory Control professional to be responsible for all aspects of Inventory Management which includes reconciling inventory discrepancies daily. Directly supervise the receipt and management of inventory for purchased and manufactured materials. Perform data analytics daily and ensure inventory accuracy goals are met and maintained within an ERP system. Work closely with manufacturing and purchasing to reduce inventory levels and stock outs. This position has a minimum of one direct report. Other assigned projects and tasks as needed. Description of Duties and Job Responsibilities Manage all aspects of inventory control throughout the facility Reconcile inventory discrepancies daily Daily inventory processing related to ERP system and production Daily shop support related to inventory processing Compare on hand reports to ERP system and resolve positive / negative on hand discrepancies related to scanning, bill of material, issues etc. Ability to analyze data to determine variances in inventory The goal is to maintain a 98% on hand to ERP accuracy rate Maintain existing Kanban and P-card card system Maintain accuracy of Kanban and P cards and make changes when required. Maximize min/max and levels and re-order quantities. Training of employees on use of Kanban and compliance monitoring Perform daily cycle counts of seven key commodity groups Perform daily proactive cycle counts to ensure integrity of the system Complete counts on time and consistently. Match cycle counts to TCM and make necessary adjustments Troubleshoot and make improvements for accuracy in TCM Labels a) Make sure receiving labels are being applied to all incoming raw materials and supplies. Work closely with receiving department to ensure compliance and resolve issues. b) Ensure special order items can be easily identified and located by receiving label so employees do not spend time looking for special items c) Ensure labels on stocking bins and racks are maintained and upgraded as needed. d) Ensure received goods are routed to the proper department or rack location Facilitate and Support company wide physical inventory Resolve issues with obsolete or slow moving inventory items Print and disperse inventory labels Make sure all bins, racks, skids, are properly labeled prior to physical inventory Minimum of four direct report Uses computer software such as spreadsheets, databases, word processing applications, email, Internet, ERP system, etc. Assist in 5s implementation as it relates to inventory control Support shop related projects Performs other duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related degree 2-3+ years of manufacturing experience in inventory, planning. scheduling, production supervision, buyer, supply chain management or similar team role Proficient in data analytics Solid verbal and written communication Working knowledge of MS Office products Proficient knowledge of MRP, TCM, SAP or other ERP systems *Systems, LLC offers competitive pay, excellent benefits and a great environment!
