We are looking for an experienced Commercial Project Manager to join our team out of the Nashville or Valdosta location. The project manager is responsible for the design, acquisition, and completion of contracts that meet or exceed the gross margin percentage goal. This position could require some out-of-state travel. Benefits: Medical (Dental and Vision voluntary), Paid vacation, Paid Holidays, 401k + company match, Cell Phone, Company Uniform, Company iPad, and Vehicle Job Duties & Responsibilities: Utilizing all available sources, identifies potential business opportunities Estimates all project designated (Commercial HVAC & Plumbing) Performs accurate takeoffs, using takeoff software, of required material, identifies specific sources of material, and prepares purchase orders Develops labor hours and cost that should be required to complete contract and writes proposals and bids Manages multiple projects while meeting or exceeding stated deadlines and bid estimates Provides leadership for resolution Other duties as assigned Job Qualifications: Demonstrated knowledge of Mechanical systems and their operation. Project estimating and management experience and a good knowledge of the commercial construction industry Ability to work with mathematical concepts (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) also conversions Ability to read and interpret Plans, schematics, diagrams, etc. Excellent knowledge of Electronic Takeoff Systems Intermediate or Advanced experience with the computer Ability to work independently, and know when to consult other members of the team Excellent communication skills (written/verbal) Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills Must be highly organized and detail-oriented Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license and insurable driving record Desired Qualifications: Engineering Degree is a plus Experience in HVAC and plumbing trades is a plus
