Current Opening: Compliance & Risk Manager Greenville Federal Credit Union is currently recruiting for a Compliance & Risk Manager. This position is responsible for evaluating and assessing risk potential for the credit union's policies, procedures, products, and programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations . Ensuring the credit union complies with NCUA regulations and state/federal laws by acting as the credit union's Compliance Officer. Responsible for managing all legal actions and court proceedings timely while keeping Senior Management informed. Act as liaison for the credit union with the courts, attorneys, and law enforcement. Remain aware of changes in regulations and analyzes changes as to the effect of operations. Examine records, documents, methods, policies, costs, and other factors. Additional responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) programs, managing, and facilitating the credit union's vendor management program to ensure all contracts and accompanying documentation are monitored regularly to allow for adequate time to act on contract renewals. Design, implements, and continually re-evaluate the Request for Proposal (RFP) process. Qualified candidates should possess a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in regulatory compliance or audit, preferably in the financial industry; a minimum education level of a Bachelor's Degree in a business curriculum or related field of study. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Candidates must possess experience managing and developing projects, identifying potential issues and risks, and implementing improvements, excellent verbal and written communication skills, be able to think creatively, multi-task, and deliver on commitments in a highly results-oriented environment. Note: This is not a work-from-home position.
