Job Title: IT Systems SpecialistDepartment: ITReports To: IT DirectorFLSA Status: Non-ExemptSUMMARY:This position will be responsible for maintaining computer networks and solving any problems that may occur with them. Ensuring all sites connectivity is up and stable. Will be responsible for investigating and resolving networking software and hardware problems.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:· Install, manage, and maintain all system hardware and software throughout the organization, resolving problems where necessary.· Implementation of new Tools and business tools within the IT infrastructure.· Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses.· Evaluate and recommend improvements, modifications or changes to an organization's IT systems to reduce costs, and upgrade the systems.· Design and document security measures and standards for all computer software and hardware· Provide regular status reports to management.· Provide technical support, training, and direction to staff to ensure effective use of systems.· Maintain subject matter expertise in applications for systems and maintain knowledge on all new and upcoming technologies.· Provide coordination for performing security audits and creation of documentation and remediation plans.· Perform system log monitoring and reporting. Monitor system logs and alerts and provide responses in determining the severity of alerts and escalating them to management.TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:· 3+ years' experience providing support services to small and medium-sized businesses.· Advanced Group Policy management· Prior Microsoft Azure experience around deployment, Administration, and maintenance· Microsoft - Windows Server 2012 R2 / 2016 / 2019· Microsoft - Active Directory (AD), Azure AD, Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams· Networking (LAN/WAN/WLAN) - Cisco Meraki Preferred· Creating and editing technical documentation· Experience with Automation tools· Excellent customer service, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills· Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment.· Familiarity with relevant operating systems, Microsoft Suite of products, the Internet, and networking· Good analytical and communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively with internal customers.WORKING CONDITIONS:Working conditions are normal for an office environment. May require lifting of up to 50 pounds. Ability to work flexible and extended hours.
