OUR OPPORTUNITY: Valor Contracting is currently looking for a motivated & skilled Construction Project Manager to join our growing team. As a Construction Project Manager for our company, you would be responsible for planning and coordinating all aspects of the construction process from design to closeout. This includes: Coordinating, preparing, and scheduling work Building & monitoring accurate cost estimates Reviewing active builds to ensure work is done per specification and of acceptable quality Working with project owner(s) to ensure satisfaction Acting as point of contact & facilitating communication between project team members Ordering materials & obtaining permits to complete construction work Reading specifications and making construction decisions that minimize risk Ensuring work complies with construction plans and building codes Reviewing drawings and submittals and coordinating between the various trades to minimize conflict The skills and knowledge we look for in a Project Manager candidate are: 4-year degree in Construction Management or Construction Engineering, preferred Prior experience with Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings, Tilt-Up Concrete, and CAD drafting, preferred Ability to read construction plans and specifications Ability to problem solve and communicate effectively Capacity to handle multiple tasks at the same time Capacity to read and understand legal documents and contracts Ability to efficiently use construction related software Team player, willing to help others OUR BENEFITS: In addition to great co-workers and down to earth management, we offer full-time team members: Competitive wages based on experience Brand new office building, conveniently located off I94 & Veterans Blvd 401K retirement plan with company match Health, Dental and Vision insurance plans, with employer premium contributions Health Savings Account (HSA) Paid Time Off (PTO) To learn more about our organization, visit our company website: www.buildwithvalor.com Valor Contracting is an EEO/Affirmative Action/Veteran friendly employer.
