Full-time ten (10) month position. This is an armed position. The School Safety Officer's (SSO) primary responsibility is supporting and facilitating a safe and secure environment throughout the campus while establishing meaningful relationships with students and staff. The SSO interacts with the school community to ensure the enforcement of city and state laws, preservation of public order, protection of life and the prevention, detection, and/or investigation of criminal activity.
