Building Services-HVAC Internship Piedmont Service Group has been providing HVAC services to clients in NC, SC, and VA since 1971! We provide above average pay, great benefits, and a strong company culture with low turnover. What you will do: We are currently seeking a Student Intern to join our Team for an internship. Our training program will give you the opportunity to demonstrate customer focus and prepare you to succeed in the building services industry. In this program you will have a chance to apply your technical knowledge and work with customers to better understand HVAC services and projects. The program consists of ten weeks of training working hands-on with service and project technicians performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and projects. Time will also be spent being mentored by our service manager and field service supervisors on soft skills necessary to be successful in a service business. Opportunities for part-time positions may continue in future semesters. Required Qualifications: Currently enrolled as a student at an accredited U.S. college, university, or community college U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S. Valid NC Drivers License Available to work a maximum of 30 hours/week Preferred Qualifications: HVAC, Engineering, Technical Trade, Business or Sales/Marketing background Hands on, excited to see learn how equipment works At ease communicating with people of different backgrounds and skillsets Equally satisfied putting on a hard hat or presenting proposal to a customer Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment Strong sense of business and technical acumen
