Character of Position As a Tool Builder , you will be responsible for building tools or fixtures to facilitate improved efficiency and quality of end-products. Responsibilities Execute build as represented in manufacturing plan and on prints for most medium and difficult complexity jobs Operate most manual machines including lathes, presses, grinders, and Bridgeport's Drill, and tap holes Work on a wide variety of projects with frequent, established deadlines Achieve quality and production goals May have potential for travel Follow OSHA safety guidelines, and ITAR compliance Other duties as assigned Skills Effective oral and written communications Ability to work effectively in a team environment Self-motivated but able to take direction Understand and work to all QMS procedures and work instructions Ability to read complex blueprints Identify and find specifications within blueprint given Geometric tolerances (understand and recognize some symbols) Understanding of general tolerances Comprehend simple sections and views Understand reference system Strong understanding of Catia V5 and or Enovia Experience Minimum of 3 years aerospace tooling experience Education High School Diploma or equivalent Benefits Referral Bonus Program Job Development Training Program Great Holiday Schedule 401k Health, Dental, Vision Insurance Flexible Spending Account Life and Disability Insurance Paid Time Off ADP Discounts Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.
