The company specializes in Commercial and Industrial work and is a recognized Industry leader in Building Information Modeling (BIM).We have an immediate opening for a CDL A Driver. Summary: Responsible for delivery of products to our customers and field technicians. Work Hours: Monday through Friday, start time will vary depending on route location. Typical start time between 4-7AM. Overtime may be required on an as needed basis. No overnight driving required. Pay Rate: $19-23.00/hour, depending on experience Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Long Term Disability, Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Bonus Program, FSA, Paid Holidays & Vacation, 401k, & cell phone Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Deliver materials to job sites (Saginaw/Midland, Lansing, Flint, and Detroit are the main areas of delivery) Following delivery driving routes and time schedules Oversee duct loading into trucks by Warehouse and Shop personnel Secure the load Make sure all necessary paperwork is completed in a timely manner Keep warehouse fleet clean and maintained Pull orders from shelves to be loaded into trucks Load tools and equipment Test tools and repair any minor problems Abide by all safety rules Other duties as assigned Requirements : High School Diploma or equivalent required Clean driving record Able to obtain DOT medical Card Valid Class A license required Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works in outside weather conditions. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and hear. The employee is constantly required to use hands and fingers to feel, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and walk.The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
