JOB SUMMARY : Under the direction of the Engineering Operations Manager, the Project Coordinator will plan and implement specified projects, particularly new product development projects, and will keep them on schedule from start to completion. The Project Coordinator is also responsible for managing change orders throughout the Product division. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Coordinate and manage projects for sound reinforcement systems including microphones, mic preamps, audio & control signal distribution, analog and digital signal processing, power amplifiers, loudspeaker cabinets & arrays, electrical power distribution, and all related cabling and connectors Coordinate and manage projects related manufacturing processes and procedures Coordinate and manage change requests for engineering and manufacturing documents and processes QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS : Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing, in person, and over the phone in a clear and concise manner Ability to work on a team, maintain a positive attitude, and be open to learning Strong documentation, communication, organization, and time management skills Must excel in a fast-paced, demanding, and continuously changing environment Ability to motivate and lead a diverse group of team members is required Should be comfortable with taking initiative Must have excellent attention to detail EXPERIENCE: Experience in product development and project management Experience with audio systems and specifically audio system design Knowledge of general engineering practices Familiarity with manufacturing processes RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Develop project scope, timelines, and project status reports Maintain accurate project information, formulations, and specifications Prioritize and manage multiple projects with overlapping deadlines Develop documentation for new product development projects Work collaboratively with cross functional teams including personnel in Engineering, Road Staff, Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, Operations, Training, and Finance Manage projects across product lines outside of Audio (Wireless, Communications, Video, Wifi) Participate in measurement acquisition, testing, and data analysis. Act as technical consultant for shop staff and road staff to deploy systems optimally for a diverse set of applications Think creatively to advance technology to find new ways of solving problems Assist in training efforts Coordinate and manage engineering and manufacturing change requests for documentation and processes Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k with match, company paid life and long-term disability insurance, and company paid onsite primary and mental health care.
