YOUR LIFE AS A PRESCHOOL TEACHING ASSISTANT As a Preschool Teaching Assistant, you are excited to come to school and play with our young children. You are a fun, friendly person who provides valuable assistance to our lead preschool teacher in the classroom. Every day is different as you help our kiddos during instruction, snack time, lunch, and toilet breaks. You assist in caring for the physical and emotional needs of our students. When the lead teacher is involved in other activities, you take the reins and supervise the class. You love helping these children with special needs have fun while they learn! WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU High school diploma or equivalent Level I New York state teacher assistant certification Covid-19 vaccination A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required. Two years or more of experience working with children would be a plus.
