Job Description - Accounts Payable Specialist Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist Location: Menasha, WI Reports To: CFO FLSA Status: Salaried/Exempt Dynamic Renewables is looking to hire a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist. Job Summary The Accounts Payable Specialist reports directly to the CFO and will be primarily responsible for preparing, recording, and administering Accounts Payable, and assisting the CFO as needed with other financial processes. Assist in assigned tasks to alleviate bottlenecks within the company efficiently & appropriately. Accounts Payable Process and enter vendor invoices for payment Review invoices for correct coding, approval, and overall accuracy Match invoice to receipt and purchase order, research discrepancies Handle all vendor correspondence via phone and email Reconcile vendor statements to accounting system, research discrepancies Reconcile and process employee expense reports File and maintain vendor and accounting documents, records and reports Assist in compiling information and preparing responses to auditors for annual audit Assist in converting vendors from check to ACH payment Prepare, file, and distribute year-end 1099 reports General Participate in the development and implementation of new or revised accounting programs, systems, procedures, and methods of operation Other duties as assigned by the CEO or CFO, as required to support the Finance Department Minimum Education/Experience Required High school diploma or equivalent 2-3 years' experience in accounts payable role Exceptional attention to detail with accurate data entry skills Open to change, willing to take on new tasks, ability to thrive in rapidly changing environment Perform effectively with frequent interruptions, under conditions of fluctuating workload Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Sage Intacct knowledge is a plus. Knowledge and understanding of basic accounting principles Proven ability to meet deadlines Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills Physical Demands Position requires minimal lifting (up to 25 lbs.), mostly desk work Strength and flexibility to work at a desk for up to eight hours Work Environment The work environment characteristics described next are representative of those that will be encountered while in pursuit of the essential functions of this job.
