Promise Early Education Center is currently recruiting for a Teacher Assistant in one of our Infant/Toddler Centers! Position will provide support to two classrooms and will work Monday through Friday from 8am to 3:30 pm. Specific responsibilities will include: To assist the classroom teams in all areas of providing a comprehensive, quality, and developmentally appropriate program for children and families while creating and maintaining a safe environment. To assist classroom teams with serving meals and snacks to include some meal preparation (food is cooked off site and brought to the Center) and meal clean up. Qualified applicants will have experience working with infants and toddlers and will have a minimum of a CDA. Associates Degree in ECE preferred. Program Overview: Promise Early Education Center is the foremost early learning program in Central Maine that is dedicated to educating the whole child and preparing that child for success in school and opportunity beyond. Our Agency provides a safe, engaging, and empowering place for children to learn and grow; offers a results driven educational curriculum taught be degreed teachers; and supports the engagement of parents and caregivers in their child's learning through partnership, communication and a commitment to the parent as primary educator.
