WEST consin Credit Union is seeking an individual to join our Leadership team as the Vice President - Information Technology. This individual reports to our Chief Information Officer (CIO) at our Menomonie East Building. As the Vice President - Information Technology, you will be responsible for the oversight of WEST consin Credit Union's IT Operations, Data Analytics, and Core Analytics teams. The Vice President-Information Technology is ultimately responsible for computer hardware, virtualization, cloud-based IT Operations' systems, software, data warehousing and analytics platforms and voice and data lines; coaching employees to ensure they are providing quality service; and planning, assigning, and directing work within their departments. *Primary work is onsite in Menomonie, WI.* Primary Responsibilities: Matures the IT strategic plan program that ties back to the enterprise program Directly oversees the IT Operations, Data Analytics, and Core Analytics departments Develops department policies; monitors policies and recommends changes and additions; obtains approval from Corporate Officer for changes; updates policies; and informs employees of policy changes Develops department procedures with IT Supervisor; compiles recommendations from other employees to determine necessary changes and additions; updates procedures; and informs employees of procedure changes Assists in negotiating agreements with outside contacts Assists in annual exams and mitigating findings Works with hardware/software vendors to understand new offerings in services, reviewing services that we currently use and do not use, participating in user groups, and owning the day-to-day relationship with our Account Managers Creates and proposes new business cases to senior management and/or prepare business cases for internal projects to the department Reviews IT Requests, place orders, and approves purchase invoices Researches and assists in resolving vendor issues; reviews and approves monthly vendor invoices Provides monthly reports/updates on department activities Explores and researches new technology including virtualization and Cloud initiatives and recommends implementation to the CIO Assists in evaluating current hardware and software; recommends hardware and software upgrades; orders new hardware and software; installs hardware and software; and acts as liaison between WEST consin Credit Union and suppliers Prepares information and assists in coordinating internal and external system assessments and audits Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university 6-8 years of related Information Technology experience 3 years of prior leadership experience preferred Why WEST consin?
