This position is for art instruction in Studio Art and Design. This includes the specializations of Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Ceramics, and Sculpture. Professional Qualifications The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts (BFA), have significant teaching experience at the middle school level, provide a portfolio of personal art practice, exhibit enthusiasm and skill for serving as a Middle School advisor, and demonstrate a record of innovation and professional growth in a school setting. Advanced degrees are strongly encouraged; state certification is not required. Beyond these qualifications, we will give special consideration to forward-thinking applicants who possess a high level of professionalism, a commitment to a learner-centered environment, and collaboration with peers.
