Instrument Fitter We are looking for experienced instrument fitters to complement our workforce. Applicants should have the ability to understand the instruction and documentation to effectively plan work activities. They should also have the ability to help coordinate the delivery of instrumentation material and set up the work sites. Daily Activities Disassemble, remove, and reinstall instruments. Design and execute installation of multiple tubing line and tray systems. Ability to support multiple customers at once. Select type and size of pipe, tube, and related material according to job specifications. Measure, cut, bend, and thread primary piping and tubing. Ex. Stainless Steel tube and Galvanized pipe. Perform field installation in a timely, accurate and safe manner. PLUS POINT: Install instrument stands, instrument air headers, screw pipe, deco trace, and steam tracking. Position Requirements Minimum of 4 years' experience as an Instrument Fitter. Working knowledge of P&IDs and Blueprints. Detail oriented. Knowledge of tube bending, rack tube bending, fabrication, & fitting. Knowledge of construction and safety procedures in the instrumentation area.
