Job Description About Our Company: John J. Steuby Company, founded in 1962, is a family owned and operated manufacturing company, specializing in precision machined metal products for the Defense, Automotive, Appliance, Bearing, Ordinance, Hydraulic, Plumbing, Hardware, Commercial Fitting industries. Job Description: Setup and run various sizes of Automatic Screw Machines. Your primary responsibilities will include: Responsible for machine set-up and operations. Performing machine maintenance, when required. Able to diagnose machining problems and make setup or tooling changes as required. Responsible to train operators Responsible for product quality and reporting any discrepant material to the quality department. Must read and interpret blueprints and specifications. Must be proficient in use of and properly interpret measurement devices such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, plug and thread gages, height gages, etc. Operate machines and perform assembly and machine repairs as required. Enforce Company safety rules. Responsible for job layout and tooling. Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience setting up multi-spindle screw machines is required for this position
