Coca Cola Beverages of Duluth 2nd Shift Warehouse Load Supervisor Coca Cola Beverages of Duluth is currently looking to hire a 2nd Shift Warehouse Load Supervisor position. This position is a working management position for a team-oriented individual who thrives in a fast paced environment. The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee the day-to-day loading operation to assure that trucks get loaded accurately, safely, and on time. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; Assisting in supervision and helping direct the daily activities and productivity of load crew. Counting and verifying accuracy of loads and signing pick ticket for accountability. Assisting in interviews and hiring employees. Providing training to new employees. Identifying employee skills and developing them by coaching and training. Assisting Warehouse Manager coordinate work hours including scheduling for breaks, approving time off requests, tracking absences and timekeeping. Training and monitoring crew for compliance with safe work practices. Assuring the warehouse is maintained in a clean and orderly manner. Assisting in reworking warehouse layouts. Fostering a cooperative and harmonious working climate that maximizes employee morale and productivity. Recommending, implementing and administering preventive maintenance policies and procedures to enhance operations. Seeking out efficiencies in warehouse operations and making recommendations. Participating in the development of department goals and objectives. Serving as backup during absence of Warehouse Manager. Ensuring that company policies and procedures are consistently administered to all employees. Performing check in and checkout procedures for all incoming and outgoing vehicles. Performing other duties as assigned. Minimum Education and Experience; Requires high school diploma or equivalent. Previous supervisory experience is preferred. Warehouse experience required.
