Senior Declassification Analyst EM Key Solutions Inc. (EMKS) is hiring full-time Senior Declassification and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Analysts to support the Joint Staff Declassification Branch (DB) within the Information Management Division (IMD). The position is located at the Pentagon, the U.S. National Archives in College Park, MD, or at the contractor's facility. EMKS is seeking an experienced Declassification and Freedom of Information Act analyst to support the Declassification Branch with compliance with mandated review provisions of Executive Order 13526, Automatic Declassification Reviews (ADRs), reviews of Referral Material, FOIA reviews, Mandatory Declassification Reviews (MDRs), Foreign Relation of the United States (FRUS) reviews, Pre-publication reviews, Special Reviews (SPR), and general administrative support. Education: Bachelor's in the Social Sciences (such as history, political science, geography, economics, psychology, sociology, and anthropology) or a BA/BS in any field coupled with documented experience supporting Joint Staff declassification reviews. Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience conducting DoD declassification reviews in at least two of the following processes: ADR, MDR, FRUS, FOIA, SR, or a minimum of 2 years experience conducting declassification reviews for the Joint Staff. Must possess and demonstrate a thorough understanding of Executive Order 13526, classification criteria, Freedom of Information Act provisions, and a thorough working knowledge of Joint Staff structure, mission, history, equities, and declassification precedent. Key qualities for this position include strong analytical skills; knowledge of all 9 FOIA exemptions, with prior withholding experience under Exemptions 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7; and outstanding attention to detail. Previous experience assisting with Department FOIA reporting and other metrics is a plus. Previous or current access to Restricted Data/Formerly Restricted Data and Focal Point/ACCM data is a plus. Clearance: Must possess a final and fully adjudicated Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility; Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
