Kent Place School is seeking a full-time Middle School English Language Arts teacher with experience using a balanced literacy approach, expertise in and enthusiasm for teaching writing, and a student-centered, culturally responsive philosophy. The educator who fills this position will join a vibrant, collaborative middle school faculty and an engaging English Language Arts Department. Experience working with middle school students is preferred. Responsibilities will also include advising a group of students, teaching trimester elective courses, and participating in community events. Requirements: minimum three years teaching experience; Master's degree in the academic field or in Teaching preferred. Please submit a cover letter and resume to apply.
