Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare and record entries to general ledger accounts Documents business transactions Balances monthly activity, e.g., cash receipts, accounts payable, accounts receivable, gross potential rent and vacancy to the general ledger Completes monthly reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts to include cash and escrows held with financial institutions Analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital Prepares balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize current and projected property financial position Examines records to determine that acquisition, sale, and other entries have been made Prepares and reviews statements reflecting monthly property operations Summarizes statements on an annual basis for income tax purposes Prepares audit packages and assists with auditor's requests related to properties accounted for on a monthly basis Perform special projects and other duties as assigned Education & Experience Bachelor's degree (BA) in Accounting, or one to two years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Property management experience preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Good calculation and mathematic skills Highly organized and detail oriented Excellent time management skills Able to prioritize work according to urgency Work well in a collaborative team environment as well as independently #indeedwexford Job Posted by ApplicantPro
