The human resource manager will assist the Solex HRC Managing Director on day-to-day HR matters for Solex HRC. This position requires a proactive, independent individual with strong quantitative and conceptual skills. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills and be able to function and succeed in many different environments. Job Responsibilities Provides prompt, courteous service to all customers. Prioritizes and addresses customer needs and demands in a professional manner. Develops positive working relationships with other HR and departmental leaders to ensure alignment of goals and objectives, coordination of services, and effective collaboration and teamwork. Facilitates training and development programs as needed. Advising management on the administration of human resources policies and procedures Leading, managing, mentoring, and influencing other Solex HRC team members Serving as an internal consultant by analyzing a company's current HR programs and recommending solutions Improvising and adapting to organizational changes as and when they arise Developing, revising, and implementing HR policies and procedures Ensuring HR programs and services are in compliance with established policies and procedures. Preparing and maintaining reports and business plans related to specific HR projects. Assisting with the development and coordination of recommended changes regarding workflow Developing methods for compiling and analyzing data for reports and special projects Conducting audits of HR activities to ensure compliance. Building relationships both with employees and clients Working with HR systems and IT programs ie. payroll, excel, etc. Key Job Requirements Proven experience as an HR consultant Experience in project management, preferably HR related. In-depth knowledge of HR principles, functions, methods, and best practices Solid understanding of research methods and analysis Computer savvy with working knowledge of human resource IT systems such as ATS and payroll Ability to strategize and formulate business plans. An analytical mind with problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and consulting skills A team player BA in human resources, business administration, or a relevant field. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required (advanced HR degree a plus). 7+ years of HR & business experience. Business acumen is as important as HR knowledge to be successful in this position. Must possess "consulting skills" & be viewed as professional & knowledgeable by our clients. Knowledge of laws and regulations governing human resources Strong verbal & written communication skills are required. Computer & math skills are required (especially MS Excel & Word). Demonstrated excellence in previous HR/Business endeavors. Professional HR Certification is strongly desired (PHR or SPHR). HR & business experience supporting small to midsize organizations.
