Cayuse Product Solutions (CPS) provides (typically through resale of OEM products) physical and digital products to our clients globally, quickly, and consistently at market rates to support their business needs. This includes tracking, sourcing, warehousing, delivering, and when needed implementing and maintaining. CPS works with external clients, but also serves the companies under the Cayuse Holdings and Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation's (CTUIR) umbrellas. Though CPS primarily focuses on IT products, they have the latitude to work with additional products requested by their clients. CPS primarily looks to add value to the procurement process for their clients and as such use's tools and processes such as Just-In-Time and Deal Registration to create value in the procurement chain process. Primary Focus The Sales Executives act as a key point of contact between Cayuse Product Solutions (CPS) and its clients. This position grows revenue and adds value to our clients through product knowledge and oversee product and service sales. Sales Executives will work with new and existing customers to identify business opportunities, prepare quotes, and statements of work by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing customer information. Job Responsibilities Develop new customer relationships and maintain current customer relationships prioritizing efforts to build trust with existing and potential customers. Plan and execute proven capture strategies and develop plans and techniques that will demonstrate our value with potential clients to do business with Cayuse Product Solutions. Act as a relationship manager and strive to move CPS from a tactical business partner to a strategic business partner within our customer base. Frequently meet with clients either via conference calls or traveling to clients' premises for meetings. Utilize knowledge of client relationship management and sales tools. Maintain knowledge of OEM's products and industry trends, developments, and challenges of the industry domain. Provide Cayuse's service offerings and help drive both product and services sales. Provide accurate forecasting of close dates that consistently meet and exceed revenue and gross profit targets. Managing all client interaction throughout the sales/capture cycle. Assist or lead where possible, in the preparation of the project estimates, schedules, work plans, resource/sourcing plans. Understand and clearly define the input required to create cost estimates. Align solution architecture (including statement of work, schedules and other contractual documents) with final terms and conditions. Lead and drive the process of Bid/No Bid discussions, proposal strategies, drafting proposal content, and quality reviews of proposals. Perform administrative and sales tasks to meet yearly established gross profit targets. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Job Skills and Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related field; or equivalent education and experience. 3+ years of experience in same or equivalent role Direct experience running a value-added IT reseller business with specific, current experience with both OEMs and IT distributors. Minimum Skills: Knowledgeable in all aspects of the supply chain including sales Must possess problem solving skills. Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to be decisive and have a "big picture" perspective. Ability to respond effectively to customers with a sense of urgency Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc. Highly motivated with the ability to handle and manage multiple tasks at any one time Excellent business and industry acumen Ability to forge new relationships, individual and teaming in nature Must be a Self-starter, that can work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: MBA IT Infrastructure and Software sales experience Current or former security clearance, ability to obtain required clearance. Advanced sales/capture and marketing skills, including proven experience marketing and selling to government buyers while communicating past performance and capabilities which differentiate Cayuse from other small businesses. Demonstrated understanding of business practices with a working knowledge of costing, pricing, and profit margins, including contractual obligations and risks. Proficient with market dynamics, in particular solutions and technologies that are hot in the market and at what price points customers are buying them; Working knowledge of Shipley processes for business development and proposal management Reports to : President of Cayuse Product Solutions Working Conditions Professional remote office environment Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties for extended periods of time. Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position. Must be able to establish a productive and professional remote workspace. Will be required to attend and conduct virtual meetings throughout the workday. Must be able to work varying work schedules and/or extended hours to meet business needs and project deadlines. May be asked to travel for business or professional development purposes.
