Title: Director of Security Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 - based on experience Full Time - Flexible hours, weekends a must JOB SUMMARY: Supervises Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel at assigned client site(s). May perform duties of Security Officer within scope of assignment. Supervises company personnel, including assigning work, scheduling, coaching, and discipline, as defined by client contract. Communications with clients ensuring compliance to protocols by Doyle personnel. Assigns, instructs in accordance to needs throughout the function, which could include but not limited to rotating, ensuring appropriate breaks, and maintaining proper coverage. Leads by example, provides clear directions to company employees, and may perform duties of Security person within scope of assignment. Responsibilities: While performing duties, a staff member's core function may involve standing for prolonged periods of time. Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures. Ability to supervise staff, including assigning work and providing training and discipline. Ability to provide positive direction and motivate performance. Ability to learn quickly and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form. Ability to be an effective team member. Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances. Ability to adapt to various changes in post procedures. Ability to adapt to changes in the external environment and organization. Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports. Good organizational skills. Strong customer service and results orientation. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, at various social levels and across diverse cultures. Directing and disciplining staff in a positive manner. Maintaining composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public, occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations. Required ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently. Depending upon the assignment may be exposed to inclement weather or be required to work in environments or under conditions that require the use of protective gear and devices and/or awareness of personal safety and safety of others. REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of five (5) year of experience in law enforcement Bachelor's degree or higher Military experience a plus Local relationship in Boca Raton a plus Must posses excellent communication skills to include verbal, no-verbal, and written Has essential skills such as problem solving capabilities, decision making capabilities, organizational skills, attention to detai,l and possesses good logic and judgement Possess a broad knowledge of law enforcement methods, techniques, tactics, and procedures Florida Class D Security Guard License Valid Florida Driver License EOE/Minorities/Females/Vet/Disability Doyle Security Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to hiring a diverse workforce.
