About the position The Electrical Design Intern works with and supports Sachs' project teams to develop coordinated 3D preconstruction and construction models, detailed system routing layouts, pre-fabrication shop drawings and component outputs using virtual building models. Day in the life Preparing sheets, labeling equipment, and conduits Modeling conduit Prepares calculations, specifications, cable pull schedules, reports, etc. Work with prefabrication department to produce manufacturable electrical assemblies Minimum Qualifications Working knowledge of Revit Working knowledge of Microsoft Products including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communications skills Proven ability to work independently or as a team leader with a high degree of organization Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong working knowledge of electrical installations and electrical systems Must be able to pass a government background check and drug screen Travel Occasional travel to project site or working from project site may be required ArchKey Solutions is an Affirmative Action, Equal Opportunity Employer: M/W/Vets/Disabilities.
