Credentialing Specialist $1,000 Sign-on Bonus Location: Punta Gorda, FL Position Summary Responsible for ensuring the agency and staff maintain current credentials, licenses, and certifications to work within their designated positions. Read and interpret license and credential applications to assure compliance with requirements. Works with Human Resources (HR) in order to successfully complete the onboarding process of newly hired Psychiatrists, Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN), Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Case Manager Supervisors, and any other licensed/certified staff that requires credentialing. Monitor upcoming renewal dates and work with staff to advise them of the requirements to maintain credentials. Responsible for set-up and maintenance of credentialing information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum one (1) years' experience working in healthcare. Ability to pass a level II Background clearance and drug test. Must be able to complete assigned tasks with minimum supervision. Must demonstrate organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks. Must maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct, while adhering to agency policies and procedures. Ability to use a computer Attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team, in collaboration with other community partners. Ability to manage stressful situations and display appropriate work demeanor and boundaries. Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service. Strong oral and written communication skills.
