IT Specialist I Optimized Technical Solutions is seeking an IT Specialist I to join our team. This position supports the System Administration personnel and Automated Testers, ensuring the All Points LogIT team is supported across multiple organization needs. ABOUT THE JOB TYPE: Full-Time LOCATION: Gunter AFB BENEFITS: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, PTO including 11 Federal Holidays, and 401K IT Specialist Job Description Provide day-to-day windows server administration support and aid in managing Information Technology Security plans and Server Operations Systems and Databases. This position will be responsible for the installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure, including end-user and cloud-based systems. This position participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This position assists end-users in troubleshooting and solving common hardware problems. This position ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related security procedures adhere to organizational requirements and vendor partners. Training & Experience: IT Specialists will receive on-the-job training from Senior System Administrators on the Team. This training will also include a customized, on-demand OTS training program designed to ensure the candidate excels in the position. REQUIREMENTS: Candidate must be US Citizen Associates or Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering or another closely related field. Security+ DESIRED SKILLS OR FAMILIARITY: RHEL/LINUX SQL/Oracle DB Cloud Technologies (Jenkins, RDS, Bucket, EC2, AWS) SOFT SKILLS: Excellent problem-solving Detail-oriented Great oral and written communication
