Rome Health is currently seeking a Director of Perioperative Services to lead our team in delivering high-quality, compassionate care. Appropriate candidates will have a strong understanding of researching and implementing current Perioperative principals/procedures throughout the Surgical Services department. The Director of Perioperative Services will have a strong understanding of State and Federal regulations governing the hospital setting. The Director of Perioperative Services will collaboratively assist with establishing goals, providing support, supervising employees, and directing of the department. Appropriate candidates will have the knowledge to extract data to measure performance and develop ways to implement performance improvement including, but not limited to the following areas: •Improving performance with First Case On-Time Starts and overall throughput •Enhancing block time utilization •Reducing turnover times •Decreasing wasted and outdated items through LEAN processes •Ensuring AORN standards •Utilizing analytics to examine overall OR processes •Patient Satisfaction Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Surgical or Perioperative Services. A minimum of 3-5 years of the clinical setting Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (Microsoft Office) required.
