Position Summary: Collect and manage all Aircraft build data/documentation for a specific Station or Manufacturing area. Raise issues with any gaps in documentation and analyze for conformity Primary Responsibilities: Perform aircraft documentation consolidation activities ensuring documented status is up to date and the "As-Built" status is in line with the "Target Definition": 70 % Work with Production Teams to ensure that the Documentation is completed as required and in line with process requirements. Documentation includes Aircraft build documents generated from the Manufacturing area + received from supply chain and major component manufacturers. Work with the Aircraft Attestation Leader and confirm the as-built status via documented condition matches with the target definition in preparation for major Aircraft Milestones. Work on the Aircraft build status to ensure documented (paperwork + system) matches the as-built status. Ensure and Attest Traceability of documentation pertaining to build status of the Aircraft. Investigate, solve gaps in the documentation with the Station Manager: 10 % Work with the Operations teams to resolve gaps. Provide clear status on the documented condition in preparation for Major Milestones. Ensure accurate reporting of documentation gaps to Operations and Quality Teams. Assist in the analysis of Constituent Assemblies (CA) Reallocations; comparing the build and target status of multiple Constituent Assemblies: 10 % Support the extended Plant and Supplier teams by coordinating the documentation and system re-alignment based on outstanding-work and re-work resolution. Work with the Attestation Leader to identify and resolve discrepancies in the Aircraft status. Identify and ensure accurate reporting on risks and gaps which have appeared in the rework and out-standing work resolution. Attend status meetings and be able and willing to present the documentation status. Additional Responsibilities: Other duties as assigned: 10 % Check the conformity status of all Constituent Assemblies (CA) integrated in the aircraft - via documentation check. Collect, review and file documentation relevant to support the build and sell of aircraft. Compile, analyze and present the Aircraft Inspection Report and associated documentation, on time and on quality, at milestones of aircraft build. Archive the necessary documentation. Archive the necessary build documents from the assembly and aircraft build process in-line with the Airbus process requirements. Other tasks and activities as assigned. Qualified Experience / Skills / Training: Education: Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; however, having a professional education or a technician's or engineering diploma (or equivalent experience) is preferred. Education reflects technical competence from a technical school or college program equivalent to 2-4 years, specializing in aviation technology or an equivalent amount of education and work experience is preferred. Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities: Competency to understand Company conformity attestation processes. Skill and knowledge of Company configuration management rules and Aviation Regulation (EASA Part 21 subpart G and Company Production Organization Manual) General knowledge of Aeronautical Regulations; Production Organization Approval (POA), preferable EASA and /or FAA General knowledge of Aerospace Industry Standards. Knowledge of Configuration Management Basics. General familiarization of the aircraft and systems. Managing or writing procedural or instructional documentation. Knowledge of Problem Solving Methods (PPS, 5 Why, etc.) Must be able to work in the United States of America. Knowledge of aircraft assemblies including nomenclature, serial numbers and other key elements related to aircraft parts. Familiarity with FAL production processes and the timing of activities for planning. Ability to proficiently use computer based programs (SAP, Microsoft EXCEL, etc.). Must be able to work under pressure and take sound decisions that will not compromise safety or integrity. Must be available to work flexible hours. Must be available to work off shifts when required. Must understand the link between Aeronautical Regulations, Industry Standards, and Company Directives & Methods. Must understand how Company internal documentation links with the certification of the aircraft. Must be able to listen and learn. Must have a positive attitude and be able to work well with others. Must be organized and able to manage large amounts of data in an effective manner. Must be able to say "no" when necessary. Must be able to present the work performed to confirm compliance to requirements. Must be able to demonstrate competencies required to fulfill the assignment. General knowledge of Lean Management with the ability to identify areas of improvement and propose solutions. Must understand Information Technology systems and their interfaces with one another. Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages): Able to read, write and speak English proficiently. Ability to read, write or speak a second language is preferred. Must be able to effectively communicate complex issues to target audiences and coordinate actions which lead to proper resolutions. Must possess the motivation to learn and be open to feedback. Technical Systems Proficiency: Soft computer skills proficient Microsoft programs such as Google suite, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; SAP; Internet Explorer; etc. Must be able to utilize Microsoft Excel formulas to enable efficient data reviewing. Travel Required: 5 % Domestic and International Nature of Contacts: Involved communication on a regular basis with internal customers. Physical Requirements: Vision: able to see and utilize computer screens; able to move through the office and from point to point to find specific co-workers and in-house experts. Hearing: able to hear in normal conversations and respond to warnings and signals. Speaking: able to participate in normal business conversations. Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to operate standard office equipment and utilize electronic id to enter building. Carrying: able to carry up to 40 lbs./18kg. when transporting documents, printer paper and similar items. Lifting: able to lift up to 40lbs/18kg. on occasion. Pushing / Pulling: able to push/pull office chairs and pieces of equipment. Sitting: able to sit for extended periods of time in front of a computer terminal while preparing documentation or participating in meetings. Squatting / Kneeling: able to occasionally able to squat/kneel to access items stored on low shelving. Standing: able to stand for long periods of time working or in meetings and discussions. Travel: able to travel through office/work complex and occasionally within the US for business meetings. Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents): able to walk through office and production areas sometimes on uneven surfaces to reach meetings, visitors and direct others to meetings.
