Our successful Arkansas property development company is searching for an additional highly creative and detail oriented Draftsman to add to our growing team. The applicant will collaborate professionally in a team environment with our In-House Architectural Team, Project Managers, Job-site Staff, Vendors and Senior Level Staff on Multifamily Housing and Commercial Properties. Applicable candidates must have a working knowledge of not only CAD function, but residential architectural drawings and building codes. Work would be from office located in Maumelle, Arkansas. Health coverage for you and your family through medical, dental and vision plans plus flexible spending accounts Financial protection through disability, life, accidental death and dismemberment insurance 401K plan A paid time off program 6 paid holidays Responsibilities: (Included but not limited to) Participate in the development of design documentation in various architectural phases including site plans, floor plans, building elevations, sections, details, etc. Utilize CAD/sketchup and other software to produce drawings, 3D renderings, and architectural details. Maintain project schedule, documents, data and files. Attend scheduled project manager, estimator and operations meetings upon request. Work collaboratively within a team environment. Will be involved in all phases of the design process and involved in a variety of project types including commercial, residential, office, storage facilities, and assisted living facilities. Analyze, interpret, and apply applicable codes, regulations, and requirements. Coordinate the architectural design with other team members, disciplines, contractors, owners, and external consultants. Assist with construction administration duties. Maintain regular, in-person and punctual attendance. Qualifications Past experience with residential construction drawings and AutoCAD software is a must. Candidate must be proficient with AutoCAD. Good working knowledge of Windows operating system and Microsoft Office, Excel and Word. Have a good understanding of the construction industry and building practices. Ability to multi-task and set priorities with consistent follow-through. Keen attention to detail, crave challenges, quick learner. Professional in demeanor and a true team player. Highly motivated, high energy, positive outlook with a strong work ethic. Enjoy hands on development of new ideas and products.
