If so, please read on! This Building Maintenance Technician position earns a competitive wage of $21.10/hour based on experience and credentials. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BUILDING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN As a Building Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g. carpentry; electrical; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC); plumbing, etc.). You also perform general cleaning. With over 40 locations in our agency, there is a lot to maintain. You will get to know a lot of our sites first hand and will learn what is needed to improve the facility. You should have basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills (including painting & drywall installation and repairs) to apply for this position, but you will learn many new skills on the job. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A BUILDING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN High school diploma or equivalent 3 years of general building maintenance or construction experience Do you have good organizational skills, including the ability to maintain accurate records? Are you always happy to help assist with repairs and general landscape maintenance? Do you thrive in a collaborative team environment? Are you punctual and have a good work ethic? If so, you might just be perfect for this Building Maintenance Technician position. WORK SCHEDULE Typical work schedule 7:30am-4:30pm Monday through Friday. No weekend or evening hours required.
