What You'll Do The Family Support Credentialing Specialist is responsible for technical assistance through communication, consultation, and documentation with assigned programs who offer Parent Education, Home Visitation, or Early Childhood Services to families who are enrolled in the Iowa Family Support Credential (IFSC). Direct technical assistance (TA) includes assisting the Family Support Programs in completing a self-evaluation and quality improvement plan (SEQIP) to prepare for an onsite peer review. The objective of this program is to assist agencies in their pursuit of the Iowa Family Support Credential, awarded to best practice providers, by the State of Iowa. TA is provided virtually using virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom, email, webinars, and telephone.. These activities occur primarily during the workday, Monday - Friday, however may occasionally occur in the evenings and weekends as needed.
