Tanner Clinic has an immediate opening for a Purchaser/Central Sterile Specialist. Location: Satellite clinics Ogden-Farmington Hours: Full-Time, Monday-Friday Responsibilities: Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders when needed for materials, supplies and equipment. Maintain records of goods ordered and received. Maintain accuracy of material inventory and locations performing cycle counts as needed Process receiving of product against purchase orders ensuring proper quantity and quality of product Process returns appropriately per policy Evaluate the appropriate Min/Max levels for stocked items Ensure items have the appropriate barcodes, rotate stock to ensure no items are out of date, perform expiration checks according to policy, react appropriately to stock outs. Prepare various items to be sterilized Clean, package, sterilize, and distribute instruments Clean and stock procedure rooms each week as needed Monitor and follow applicable laws and regulations. Travel between clinics, Ogden to Farmington. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications for Success: Work-related skills, knowledge and experience are required. Six months Central Supply experience required Sterile Processing Certification preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. Job Posted by ApplicantPro
