A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSISTANT BAKER In this restaurant position, you bake and decorate cookies to perfection! You start each shift by preparing all the necessary ingredients and toppings. Closely following our recipes, you assist in the process of making large batches of cookie dough in an 80-quart mixer. Then, you scoop, package, and freeze the dough so that it can be baked later. On baking days, you pull cookie dough out of the freezer and bake it for the proper amount of time. After the cookies cool, you help ice and top them. At the end of each shift, you thoroughly clean your station. Following our food safety and sanitation guidelines is your number one priority. You love making delicious cookies and having the opportunity to improve your baking skills! QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ASSISTANT BAKER Knowledge about and love for baking Professional baking experience Are you creative? Can you work independently and with others? Are you a self-starter? Can you take direction? Are you dependable and reliable? Do you have excellent organizational skills? If yes, you might just be perfect for this position! WORK SCHEDULE FOR AN ASSISTANT BAKER This food service position is part-time and typically works from 10 AM - 5 PM, Monday - Thursday , and between the hours of 8 AM - 11 AM on Sunday OR Friday .
