Ecommerce Systems Analyst

The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, a non-profit, membership organization with its National Headquarters located near the White House, is seeking a Commerce Support Specialist to join our Information Systems team. We are seeking someone with a proven ability to understand how commerce platforms and tools can connect multiple areas or revenue. The person in this role will be using their expertise to identify best practices and apply training and other resources to ensure that users understand how their designated system operates. A successful candidate will have working knowledge of Magento, Retail Pro, Retail Dimensions RD-Ice, BigCommerce, and eMobile POS. Position Responsibilities: Supports our Insignia Store, Museum Gift Shop, and the DAR Store staff. Evaluates organizational needs and works with commerce companies to determine suitable technical solutions. Applies subject-matter expertise in evaluating business operations and processes. Identifies areas where technical solutions would improve business performance. Documents processes and disseminates information to all relevant stakeholders. Develops and maintains operating system's documentation and procedure manuals. Provides basic training of all store commerce platforms and assist with high-level training. Daily monitoring of platforms to ensure they are functioning properly. Will act as a liaison between staff and commerce companies for resolution of issues. Manages all commerce software upgrades, platform changes, and system enhancements. Supervises all ongoing synchronization between Retail Pro, BigCommerce, and eMobilePOS. Position Requirements: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with online marketing and retail businesses. Bachelor's degree in in Business, Marketing, e-commerce, or similar related field; or equivalent relevant work experience. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to understand how systems, products, and tools work together. Knowledge of Retail Pro, Retail Dimensions RD-Ice, BigCommerce, and eMobilePOS or similar systems. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with internal staff, leadership, and external contacts. Demonstrated project management, communication and training skills required. Ability to observe, identify, and clearly articulate and document a process. Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to develop training materials and train staff. We offer a hybrid remote policy to employees. If a position is deemed able to work remotely, and a new employee has a firm understanding of their duties and responsibilities, there is an opportunity to work remotely partially during the week.
