You'd be joining a team of counselors focused on helping support, stabilize and enhance the wellbeing of families involved with DCP&P where the children are at risk of abuse or neglect . $500 Sign on Bonus What you'll do as a counselor - Provide short-term, intensive, in-home counseling to 2 families at a time, each receiving a minimum of 5 hours of weekly face-to-face contact.- Address safety concerns and enhance functioning and well-being of parents and children residing in Monmouth County.- Teach, coach and model parenting skills and effective parent-child interactions.- Advocate and link families to concrete services and supports.- Work collaboratively with DCP&P and community service providers- Complete documentation consistent with program and agency requirements.
