Relationship building is paramount in what we do every day for both our internal and external customers. Schwieters Companies is seeking to hire a full-time Millwork Door Material Handler . JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Receiving doors from the door machine and prepping for delivery Managing orders to be completed in full and on time Using a scan gun to check inventory and properly adjust where material is at Selecting material from shelves and prepares items for next steps Inspecting all material for quality Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift Having constant communication with upper management on progress with work orders Float to other areas as needed to meet business needs Work with a team of individuals to ensure product is picked on time and to quality specifications Work together with all other areas in the warehouse to ensure maximum efficiency is achieved Work together with a team of individuals to reach the common goal of 100% on time delivery to the customer Picking material using a stand/sit forklift (as needed) Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Previous material handler experience preferred Comfortable learning to operate a forklift Ability to lift up to 50-75 pounds comfortably Self-motivated, self-directed team player and team builder Ability to understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions; have legible penmanship, good communication skills (verbal and written) and be detail oriented.
