Job Title: Graphic Designer Job Summary: This position is in support of the General Services Administration (GSA). The Graphic Designer will provide the Office of Acquisition Management (OAM) with visually appealing graphics for reports, presentations, and infographics. This includes providing technical knowledge to develop computer graphics, digital photography, videography, and motion graphics. This position requires the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects. Responsibilities Include: Designing and producing layouts, graphics, and iconography in support of trainings, slipsheets/one-pagers, multi-page guides, and video Providing technical knowledge and expertise in visual hierarchy, representing processes and concepts graphically, stock photography, infographics, and videography Incorporating appropriate software applications in multiple technology media systems, such as graphics, animations, text, and sound Contributing to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards Preparing and designing training slides, industry documents, and custom maps in Google Workspace Developing assets for and sending recurring electronic newsletters Composing visually appealing training course materials that comply with GSA Brand Guidelines Coordinating and assimilating content with project owners and stakeholders in a collaborative workspace Required Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree At least 5 years of experience in developing graphics, photography, and videography support to government agencies Experience with Adobe Creative Suite CC and Google Workspace Ability to furnish a portfolio with at least 3 samples and/or links to sample work Experience with Section 508 Compliance Must be able to pass a Federal Government Background check Work Setting and Environment: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Eastern Time Zone) Position to be performed remotely How FedWriters Will Compensate and Appreciate You: FedWriters provides a competitive package of salary and benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage; a matching 401(k) program; generous Paid Time Off (PTO); STD; LTD; life insurance; and more!
